These tests are carried out by the staff of pathologist, clinical biochemist, pathologist's assistant, and medical laboratory assistant using a number of testing machinery and equipment. These tests are executed on the samples, like blood, urine, or body tissues to check the functioning of different parts of a body, for instance, the thyroid tests check thyroid function; autoimmunity tests check immune system function, etc. The other tests are conducted to identify different kinds of infection.
