The pathologists at Kazimi International Laboratory examine the biopsy or surgical specimen under the microscope, when asked by hospitals, clinics or other laboratories. Surgical specimen can be whole organs or parts, fluid and pieces of tissue removed by the surgeon from the diseased part of the body. These specimens prior to analysis are prepared and then treated using different technique appropriate to the kind of specimen. The histopathology tests we conduct include biopsy small specimen single, biopsy medium specimen and biopsy large specimen. With such tests, the pathologists spot the signs and characteristics of disease. The report we prepare is called histopathology report or biopsy report.
